Come out to the Victoria Compost Education Centre this Saturday, April 25th for their AGM from 1-3pm. At 2pm I’ll be doing a free talk about mysterious ‘Mycorhizal’ Fungi, the beneficial and symbiotic fungi growing in association with plant roots that increase plants’ access to nutrients, increase resistance to drought and disease, and create air and water pockets in the soil which reduce erosion, drought, and create pockets of life for a healthy soil ecosystem. Do you need to add them to your garden? If so, how? Come to this talk to find out!
Where: The straw bale building at the Compost Education Centre, 1216 North Park St in Fernwood.
